It was a beautiful day yesterday here in South Florida. I had a few hours to spare and decided to go to the zoo photo hunting before they closed. I live really close and go often.

As usual many of the animals were almost out of sight resting except Mr. Bear. He was lying on his back with his foot on the fence staring into space totally ignoring people trying to get him to look at them for a photo.

The foot caught my attention. I stepped back from the fence aimed the 5d w/ 70-200 and 580ex for fill and fired a few shots. The bear changed position, the moment was gone. Out of, I think 5 cameras, I was the only one to capture this. This was the best with the colorful plant adding to the scene.

For those interested: 200mm focal length, ISO 640, 1/125s @ 2.8.
