My hard drive crashed on New Year's Eve and I have lost everything. I am reloading the programs on my new hard drive, but I can't seem to find the jacket sleeve that came with my cd for PE 4.0. I have everything else in the box but that. There is a PN number on the box, but I don't know if that is the serial number. I have been having a hard time finding a technical support number to call. Does anyone have a number that I can call about this? Your help would greatly be appreciated.

If you registered with Adobe then you can get your serial number online.

Sorry ..I'm not sure of their site structure .. I always just fumble through and likely go the long way around.

I believe I did register the program. Do I need to go to Adobe.com? I will try going there, but if anyone knows exactly how to get this information, I would so appreciate your help.

adobe support, if your registered you should be able to ask your question here. If not registered ask what else you can do. I think they reply in 24 hours.

Here's what works for me:

Go to www.adobe.com (http://www.adobe.com)
Click on Your Account at top of page
Log in using your ID (usually your e-mail address, although that's a new "feature") and password.
Click on Your Account>View Product Registrations
Click on View Product Registration>View Adobe Branded Product Registrations
Find your product on the screen Your Adobe Product and Online Service Registrations.
Copy down all digits of number
Rest from your ordeal.Whew!

Kelly, I'm glad it worked for you! The Adobe site isn't all that intuitive; I tried a couple different paths before reaching the repository of registrations....

Hi Kelly ...

So pleased that you have managed to find the number ... it really does show how useful it is to register Elements :)

Wendy,

You are so right. If I didn't register the program, I bet I would be out of luck. It is bad enough to lose your hard drive, it is another to lose your favorite program!
