I'll apologise now as this has probably been covered MANY times before but I just can't find where.
I recently bought a copy of Premiere Elements 3.
I loaded it up and started using it. I did a few quick video edits and then finished.
When I tried using it the next day I opened the program and clicked 'New Project'. Shortly after doing so I got an error message.
'Sorry, a serious error has occured that requires Adobe Premiere Elements to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project'
I have no other choices but to click OK which terminates the program.
I have (or at least think I have) updated my audio and video card drivers and also re-installed the software but this has made no difference.
I'm only 'reasonable proficient' with computers so all the help you give would be greatfully received.
