I think that someone gave a link to a free program that you can drop your photo on and it will give you all of the data....? I thought that I downloaded it, but in switching to my Mac I have confused a lot of issues! Could you please post it again?
Thanks in advancehttp://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

I am thinking that my brain is fried. I was pretty sure that I got it from Ray and I just discovered that I can search just his posts! Better late than never...I had downloaded it, but for some reason I can not find it anywhere on my computer. Who knows what happened.

all of the data from each picture is stored along with the picture.
Under Window in the menu bar, click Properties and Dock Properties in Palette Bin and they will show all data for the picture you select. Click the icons at the top of the Properties palette and you will see various catagories of info. Check radio button Complete at bottom to expand data if it is not showing what you want.
You can add captions and notes for the selected picture as well with the first icon selected. With the first icon selected double click on the folder and it will take you to the folder.
I use the properties all the time to see various things like size, file format, location etc.

Hi Jim ...
The Mac version doesn't have the Organiser ...:)
... but Debbie anytime you want to find something on the Mac just use spotlight and search for it that way ...

Thanks Wendy. I am trying to make more use of that. For some reason, I put it in the trash.....! Maybe it is because I think that trash thing is so cooll LOL!!!

The Editor has File > File Info command that will allow you to see the Metadata and save it to a file.

Hi Debbie ...
Glad that you found it ... that trash can is pretty cool isn't it :)
Have you set up your Dock yet ? ... if not then try some of the variation for that. Click on the little Apple top left of the screen and then click on Dock ... and play with the things in there. Dock Preferences has some cool effects ... experiment with them all :)
... hiding is fun too and gives you a nice empty screen :)
