A huge great big THANK YOU to the Photoshop elements staff that I met today. I am honored to be the first elements subscriber to visit and take the tour. And I loved that y'all had a reserved parking spot just waiting for me. It said 'Visitor':D .
I met: Dave, Corey, Stacey and of course Matt who was kind enough to provide a tour for me. I was also able to meet many of the great members of the team that were hard at work.
I saw where and how it all happens!
While there, I was able to pick up Matt's book and have it signed. Yes it is signed with gold ink. I took my own pen (for real...Pen-touch:gold).
Here is a scan of the page. I did think about adding a golden LS to it to sparkle more on the screen, but I didn't. It shines great in real life.

I saw y'all's (southern plural for all of y'all) books. They are ready. The post office has a bunch of those crates to pick up !
Matt, Thank you so much again.
Now I will try to get my gallery linked edited:eek: with out too many more goof ups.

Boy were you lucky, I heard there was a three year visitor waiting list. Lucky you!!! Are you going to put the autographed book on e-bay for auction????

I've actually heard that my signature decreases the value of my books on eBay ;)
Thanks again for stopping by Michelle. It was great meeting you. We're always happy to get away from our desks for a few minutes to show people around.

Wow, how lucky for you! Did you call and ask to visit? And where are they exactly? I have yet to order the book but I'm going to. Glad you had a great time there!

Hey Michelle!
Congrats!
I would have liked to go with you! I live part-time (soon full-time) about 20 minutes from the office (depending on traffic).
We have a little group of photographers here in the area, if you'd like to join us sometime, just let me know!
We usually go somewhere at least twice a month to shoot.

I did really have a wonderful visit. Thank you Matt,
Sorry Eddie, autographed book will not be available on e-bay. Besides the fact I will not part with it...I'd never figure out how to sell anything there anyhow.
Linda, if my photography taking skills improve, I would love to join y'all. Or maybe, I could just watch some. Where abouts are you moving to.
Kimi, if you come on down, we can take a field trip.
I'd better get back to my eclectic homework.
And I still can't change the link to my gallery. there is no hope....
forever...president of slow learners!

My copy arrived in the mail today. Sure 'nuff, it is inscribed and /s/ by Matt in Sharpie Black.
Now, just think, in 50 or so years my Great- or Great-Great, or whatever-Grandchild will find a dusty box in the attic. S/he will take the book to Antiques Roadshow and the expert will wet his pants with glee saying, "This is extremely valuable if the signature can be authenticated. The ones we have seen have all been signed in black but there is a persistent rumour that at least one copy was signed in GOLD. Too bad you don't have that one, if it in fact exists, that would be off the chart at auction!" :D :D

Hi there,
I know the answer, anyone for a wager???:D
There was another one for a short while ...yesterday , but it made me dizzy, so I switched it to this one. (Bill liked the other one, and thought it fit better). And before that, there wasn't, as "guess who" couldn't figure out where avatars came from (don't even go there:eek: ). this one is supposed to be a gif, and flap and act like it is talking....but, its still because I probably missed the end of something. I will check on it later.
There is a story behind "bluebird" maybe later;)

Rusty - too funny! Hope your gold pen doesn't fade or tarnish Michelle or your value may drop right thru the floor. :D
Sounds like it was a wonderful trip. I'll give you a ring when we come to Tampa next (which should be this coming fall).

It was a lot of fun. They have a great set up.
I did mention while there, how wonderful this forum is, the members, and the fun we have on it. We now have friends and family world wide.
Hard to believe when I first started working in that little industrial park, the roads were not even paved in it. The route to my house was winding little 2 lane country roads, w/o traffic signals the whole way. Times have sure changed!

Kimh,
I spent the weekend with my parents, they're spending the winter at an RV park in Arcadia. The weather there was sure better than the 16 degrees we had here this morning!
