I am evaluating the trial version of premiere elements 3.0 and having a problem with audio.
I have DVDs created on a VHS to DVD recorder. When I check properties of the DVDs, I see 5-6 .vob files that I can import into Elements. However, when I import them, the first two files always come in with a media type of 'video'; the rest come in with a media type of 'movie'.
The real problem is that I get no audio at all with the first two files; i have confirmed that playing the source DVDs directly plays audio from start to finish.
I'm not sure what to try next but would like to work through one project successfully before i purchase.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
