Bill- You did an exceptional job with your "set up" photo of games this week. :)

Steven - you're absolutely right. Bill always does a great job with his set-up image to get us started.

Very cool as usual! Boy the letters in my name suck! I'm not worth much am I? :D
I don't have any games in the house so I'm gonna have to be creative with this one.

Good start by everyone. I tried to recognize those who play weekly, until I ran out of letters.
Tony, are all those puzzles yours? You don't get earthquakes up in Ontario that would throw all those boxes to the floor do you?
Nancy- Someone needs to shuffle the deck a bit more; that or I'm in for a couple rounds at your place. I would want to raise the stakes though.

That was a good one Steven. How many points did Karen get?
A good start by everyone and thanks Bill.

Tom M.,
I bet there's enough lead in those pieces to qualify your "new edition" for a visit from a haz-mat team!! :D
I get to be the shoe!!!

Lots of good photos so far .... and still plenty of time for Gary and me.:D
Steven - That was a great way to get us started. Good work.
Tony - That's more puzzles than I've ever seen. Nice crisp shot!
Nancy - A new take on the classic 'Dogs Playing Poker'. Very clever. And your second entry is wonderful. It's nice to see dogs just being dogs!
Suzi - I love it .... 'Dogs Playing Mousetrap'. Great idea and you captured the expression of the dogs faces beautifully.
Rita - Great collage and I like the background. Checkmate.
Ellen - And the cats 'move'! Very cool and a nice shot. (And yes, there have been some suspiciously fortunate images.)
Rusty - Perfect execution ... not even getting out of the chair! I was happier with the score shown than with the final though.
Debra - Great entry ... looks like the squirrels are eating all the game pieces though.
Tom - Is that Monopoly Vista Edition?? Great material and a wonderful shot.
Karen - I like the way the different shapes and lines combine. Very fun ... and a neat frame too!
Mary - A perfect 29 hand! Just good luck right?;) Nice entry.
Keep them rolling in!!

Thanks Bill. I figured Steven's cat could use some fun while recovering with his broken leg.:D

Steven, That must be the only time I have won at Scrabble!! Like your new avatar
Tony, Great selection but do you ever play them? What are your favourites?
Nancy, Great image, hope it does not end in a dog fight!
Suzi, Even if the two players were not impressed, I am.
Rita, Like the composition of your shot and the background looks interesting.
Ellen, What unusual cards. Do you "cat fight" using them?
Well done everyone, good variety of games and shots. We have an awful lot of very clever animals don't we?
Karen
Rusty, Now that is thinking outside the square - well done.
Debra, Very clever squirrells you have there - great shot
Nancy, Who won, you or Sophie? Great shot
Tom, Good composition - did you know they are bringing out an Australian version?
Mary, Very colourful crib board - did you win?

Thanks Bill and Karen for commenting. I never counted what Karen's score was, but it was a double word score so I am sure it easily beat everyone elses. Too bad Bill couldn't have dropped his "Z" on a triple letter square.
Nancy- Remember, Henry, my cat, is a she. Sorry for the confusion.:D
Tom M-You're lucky to have that old Monopoly set. We had an old one growing up, with wood houses and hotels, but the item pieces themselves were made of wood. I wouldn't play unless I got to be the train.

Karen and Bill,
thank you for taking the time to comment.
For the background I sneaked in a second shot of a little plastic travelling chess game, duplicated many times and aranged in rows. After reducing image size for posting it wasn't very clear any more.

Rita - It worked well.
I'll apologize in advance if you know this, but don't forget you can save yourself a lot of time by making a pattern of a selection. After you select the little traveling chess game go to edit>define pattern from selection. That will add a pattern to your pattern pallet. Then you can go to edit>fill layer ..., select the pattern you just made, click ok, and voila (or viola, I'm never sure which:) .) It'll yield the same results you got, but much faster. Again, sorry if that's old news. Congrats again on a nice image.
Gary - Great entry as always. Now I know I'm running out of time to find mine.

Geez Bill
We are always waiting on you and your late entries.:D
Mine was a wus shot... I was thinking before I shot it ..."well at least I can figure out how to not get those scan lines" then I realized I was using an LCD not a CRT.

That's okay - Sophie is playing too! Auggie is there (in spirit) and so is my daughter's dog Jack. Look's like Henry was the party crasher - and she's winning!:D

Nancy- Just as long as she gets to play, that's all Henry cares about. She goes in Tuesday for a new splint and the staff knows we like them wild. Thanks for letting her sit in on the game.:)
