I have a number of landscape type images with a grey uninteresting sky. I have tried to replace the sky with a nice blue sky with clouds but I have a problem getting the blue sky between some of the branches of the trees- usually I'm left with the original grey sky. When I try to clone the blue sky into the grey, I just cant get the same color match even though the selected area is nearby.
Is there an easier way of getting the blue everywhere it should be - ie between the branchs?

This is another thread that I thought was excellent.

I now use this technique routinely and am constantly amazed at how easy it is.
