Didn't know there were such lists. I have students all around the world who send me links, articles and jokes on a regular basis. Most of it is of passing interest but there are some that I enjoy like this one.

The photos remind me of my Dad's backyard (he obviously lives Down Under ;) ). He has a cockatoo in a very big (walk-in) cage that gets visitors nearly everyday. Here's a photo of her and you'll never guess....Her name is Lola....:D

Love the kookaburros in your gallery. I have just 1 kookaburro shot from Oz and he's sitting on a lamp post at Toranga Zoo. Also, your night heron on wing is excellent, especially with an S2.

I love shooting birds (:D ) especially when they are a bit tame and don't fly away the moment you approach them.....this being the case with Max the McCaw and my dad's cockatoo. The kookaburra was taken at a zoo and they were also pretty tame ;)
