Hope you can help.
I've just burnt my slideshow (with audio) to a CDR and burnt it as a VCD. However when I try and view it on both of my DVD players on my TV (PAL) all the images are upside down, despite the fact that they are the correct way round when I've saved them.
Why is this happening?
Many thanks for your help - it would be appreciated!

Oh no!
That happened to me when I was creating a slideshow for an 80th birthday and that was my ONLY job. I can't exactly remember what happened but I ended up buying a new computer and used different software. What program are you using? I was using ROXIO when it happened and had to upgrade it. Sonic was finally the one that worked. I could not do the VCD. I did end up doing the DVD. Probably didn't help, but I can try to help you if you want.

Hi Barbara
Thanks very much for your reply.
I am using Photoshop Elements 3.0 and trying to use the VCD slideshow creator. Which I believe I have used before without difficulties. It looks fine on the screen, but after being burnt onto CDR all the images are upside down and in reverse as I view on the television via my DVD player!
It's funny you should mention Roxio, as I recently downloaded the trial version of Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 to try it out. I wonder if the download 30 day trial is affecting me within Photoshop Elements in some way?
I've only resorted to creating a slideshow, since I was having problems with Roxio and Windows Movie Maker creating a movie. Everytime I tried to capture video the frames were jumping - making the video unusable as a result. I'm not having much luck here!
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hi Jep,
OK from what I remember, it was the program I was using. I now use PSE4 to create the slideshow. I then use Sonic to burn the slideshow to a DVD so it can be played on a dvd player. There must be an easier way or a program that can do it all. I kind of defaulted to the programs I was comfortable using. As far as the VCD I think it is connected to PSE4 but I would need to upgrade to get it. I will research some more and let you know. Have you tried NERO. That does it all but I can't deal with one more learning curve. I am very pleased with my slideshows as they are. Hope this helps and don't hesitate to email me for more info if I can find it.

What is VCD anyway?
