Hi you guys. Last time I was here, I was soon going to be on my way to the the Fiesta Bowl Football game between Boise State and Oklahoma and was not really very enthusiastic about the prospect of spending most of the afternoon and evening there.

Well----I was wrong! I hope some of you got to see the game.WOW!! It had to be the best football game - ever!! I am so glad I got to go and I was so lucky to be sitting on the goal line on the west side of the stadium where all the drama happened.
What fun to see the underdogs never give up!
What fun to see them use trick plays and have them work!
What fun to see the surprised looks on the other team's faces when they didn't know where the ball was!
What fun to see the variation on the old "Statue of Liberty" play happen right in front of me!
Anyway - in case you didn't understand me - the whole thing was fun, fun, fun!!:D

Okay, but did you take any pictures?? :)

It was a great game! I am a Michigan fan, so I was bummed about the Rose Bowl and glad to see some exciting football that day. The Boise State game had some great play calling, AND the plays were well executed. We stayed up 'til the end, cheering them on (never having seen them play before!)

I only took a few. Actually - one of my kids from school was part of the afternoon entertainment at the big tailgate party before the game. He is a boxer (ugg) and was in a match at the party. I took a few pictures of him. My football game pictures didn't turn out very good. I didn't have fresh batteries and I only had my pocket camera with me. I really wasn't expecting such a good game. AND - I really didn't have much interest in who was playing, so I wasn't prepared. I should know better. Andie

All year long we have watched Boise State provide clinics on how to restore fun along with quality to football. The first inkling was when they blew Oregon State out early in the season. (OSU beat Missouri in the Sun Bowl on an exciting 2 point extra point). My wife (who virtually never watches football) and I (who don't watch much) were really thrilled with the Fiesta Bowl. The comeback to tie and the overtime tricks were some the best and most fun I've seen since I was a young man and a real football enthusiast. :D :D :D

Also the young man who scored the winning points proposing to his girlfriend on national TV was appropriately romantic to bring storybook ending to the festivities.

Gee, think I 've taken in most of them,
Now just next weeks big one to go for college land,(I think).
Hopefully, I stay awake, At least I do not work on Tuesday's anymore.

Andie - I have been sooo sick since Christmas and I was just playing on the computer. My husband was watching the game and THEN I started watching because it was so entertaining and I was listening to all the comments. Boy - did I come alive - sick or not. That was some game. W0W - wait till I tell my husband that someone I know "one of my PSE family" was actually THERE. I enjoy American football much better than Canadian football because of the 4 downs.

I usually don't watch college football but I did see the "Best Football Game Ever" I live near Boston and I'm a Patriots fan, but I can honestly say, that was the best ever. I actually stayed up until after 1:30 am to see the dramatic win. It has renewed my interest in college ball. For a guy my age to sit in front of the boob tube until that ungodly hour is testimony enough. BillandCat:)
