Hey folks - well since i am a bit under the weather, my body can only take some mouse clicks and not much more. So with time to kill, I created an annual 2007 calendar that you can customize 'til your heart's content!!
Look in my gallery - it is the main image for now...
The original calendar I got from a PDF file generator at:
http://incompetech.com/beta/cal-yearly/
I opened it and cleaned out the white area in PSE4 mac. That became its own layer. I inserted a shape and added my swan photo to group with it (auto framing it). Then I created a color and gradient layer to match the photo colors. The top layer is transparent and I just went nuts with some brushes, then blurred the layer and lowered the opacity. Screen shot of layers can be seen with Picture2.jpg.
I dont know what to put across the top - but this was just a sampling to show you how easy it is. You could add more custom shapes (of any kind) or insert photos you have already created with a drop shadow.
I was going to post the text only portion file here, but it is too large. Send me a PM if you want it. I suggest printing on matte or semi gloss photo paper.
Get the juices flowing and create your own - I'd love to see everyone's creations!!
