System error & pse3 crashes

I have a few photos that produce a "system Error" that states "The parameter is incorrect" when I select "edit". As soon as I select ok PSE3 Organizer crashes. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Are these images ones from your camera, scanned ones or something else?? ... I'm just trying to see if they are dufferent from your normal ones.

One thought is to try resaving the images and see if that sort it out ... can you open them in the Editor to do that?

This problem happens when I attempt to open them in editor & the program crashes before we get to editor.

These are photos that I had saved to disc on another computer & transferred to my laptop. I have been able to work with them in the past but now I am having a problem with a few.
