I have just edited a wedding project and have burnt a few DVDs for friends but decided to export it back to tape as a back-up. This appeared to go OK (I think). There was nothing displayed on the camera screen during this operation other than a red dot and the tape counter. Now if I try to replay the tape on the camera all I get is a blank screen.
My question is - is this normal? Should I be able to view the exported file on the camera?
I am using a Sony DCR-H35 connected to my computer via the firewire port. This camera has DV out and in.
Any ideas?
