On the Shutterfly site today, I saw this ad to purchase and "Annual Print Plan" for $29.95 which gets you 30% off of prints (all sizes) for a year AND a "free" Classic Book ($29.95 value):

I've had some 4x6 prints done by Shutterfly, but no enlargements. Has anyone had larger prints made? Was the quality good?

Hi Kim,
I have had standard 4x6 photos printed by Shutterfly and been happy with them. I had some 5x7's and they were good as well. Seems like the offer is well worth the $29.95 if you are getting the "free" classic book. I had one made for my grandson for Christmas and it was very nice.

Hi Kim-
I ordered an 8x10 from them-very nice, and the larger photos in the book I ordered were spectacular.:)

Several months ago, as a test, I had Costco and Shutterfly print the exact same 8x10. I can't remember which one cost more but they were very close [price wise]. Both 8x10s came out good but Shutterfly was better. At least to my eye it was. Russ

I saw a segment on a TV news program the other day comparing online photo printing sources for price and quality. Shutterfly's quality was judged to be the best of those they reviewed and the cost per print was only a few cents difference between them all (I don't remember which was more or less in cost).

Thanks, everyone, for the input!
I did the free book offer a couple of months ago and love it! So I guess the offer is worth the $29.95 even if I don't order any prints--which I'm sure will not be the case. The 30% off of prints for a year is a definite bonus for the price of the book!:)

I had Adorama the Camera Store do mine and they did a GREAT job at .99 per 8x10 and $1.99 for 11x14 prints. I ordered about 14 11x14s and they did a GREAT job but now I have to Frame 14 11x14s that are in mats that are 16x20, YIKES. I just ordered about 15 8x10s at .99 each. It is a deal that will only last a few days more so give it a try at adoramapix.com. I have not relationship to them but just a good deal that I thought I would share with you.
The otherone that I am familiar with is MYPUBLISHER and that is one that a few people in our camera club have used for albums and they liked what they received.
Shutterfly is another that they have done and liked so nothing against them at all just thought I would mention the deal I had gotten at Adoramapix.com.

Thanks Kim for posting this thread and the input of y'all's experience with Shutterfly.
New question, along this line regarding Shutterfly. If printing a scrapbook layout, 12x12, what paper do you recommend? Glossy or matte.
I'm tinkering with the real thought of making my Florida Fridge LO a 2 pager LO and actually printing it as a 12 x12. I want to add more "flake" photos, and stuff and do not think I could manage those using my ol' paper method.
thankyou for your advice.
