i'v4 just bought photoshop elements 5 and it booted up the browser a couple of times and did a search. There were a lot of images on my drives so I couldn't be arsed to wait for however many images I had and stoped the search about a third the way through. Now I can't get the browser to open at all.Any Ideas?

If you are using a windows machine - click on organizer and then hold down the ALT+SHIFT+CONTROL -- answer yes to attempt to recover this catalog -- you probably corrupted it by stopping the process. Let us know how you get along with it. IF on a MAC post back and someone will help with that aspect.

Hi ...
Has to be Windows as there isn't a Mac version of PSE5 yet :)

You are right -- I guess I expected Adobe to do better by our Mac Friends.

Hi Will ...
Well we are keeping our fingers crossed that once CS3 arrives then there may be a Mac version of PSE5 :)
Not having the organiser on the Mac version means they usually give us the Photoshop Browser :) :)

I believe it is Control by itself when opening Organizer (?browser?) to force a Catalog Recover and Control+Alt+Shift for Editor to force a Reset Preferences.
Just FYI-I will have my new V5 installed by end of week-was travelling and just got back today. I'll probably keep V3 installed for awhile for any questions that come up, but my 2007 resolution is to do all my work in V5.
