slide show file management fixed?

I had repeated instances of my lengthy slide show being lost in Elements/Organizer/3.0. Does anyone know if my half-done show will import to 5.0, or whether the slide show function is more stable?

I do think that the slideshow function is more stable in v5 than it was in v3.

However, I still would not recommend buying PS Elements in order to do a slideshow - especially a long slideshow. Therefore I would not recommend an upgrade specifically for the slideshow functions.

Thanks Barb. I have test-driven other "popular" slide show creation programs and found them all user-unfriendly. Despite Adobe's arrogance toward technical support issues for their own flaws, I'll try to slog on with 5.0, but not happily. Do you have a favorite for complex slide shows? Lou

I do use PSE5 for short slideshows and 5 is better than 3 but agree with Barb that a specialized slide show program is better, although I do all the up front editing in Photoshop. My personal favorite is ProShow Gold which I just upgraded to the latest version (3). I've found it pretty easy to use as have friends/relatives I've introduced to it. Well worth a test drive if you haven't already.
