Could not finish creating your email...

PE could not finish creating your email message. Please make sure that Microsoft Outlook is selected as your default...

I have used this function in the past without any problems I am currently using PE5 and MO is selected as my default mail client un both my control panel and PE. So why am I getting this message? It is so frustrating I love to use the easy method of just clicking on the email button and then wham the picture is in the message, PLEASE HELP!!

Just a thought.. are you using Outlook or Outlook Express.. this has caught a few people as they seem to be the same program even though they are not.

Thnak you for your reply, yes I am using Microsoft Outlook and not express. I was hoping that there would be some quick download that would help me fix this!!!!!

Have you changed any settings in Outlook recently? The encoding? The reason I am asking is, the last time this problem came up, there was some problem with a non-standard encoding or such...

Hello, I ran a windows update and it fixed the problem,. man that was way to easy.
