Thanks for pointing this out, Kimi, I haven't been looking in the galleries as much lately. This is incredible! So creative and so full of little details. I'll have to look again and again at this. Nancy- I'm in awe of your artistry. My family gets amazed at what I create in PSE, and I keep telling them that it's nothing; next time I'll just pull this up and show them what REALLY can be done.

Well - I actually did the basic layout for a family photo. I printed that for the first page of my mom's heritage book. I was going back through the pictures and found this one which has always been a favorite and the colors reminded me of the other layout so I did some minor modifications and it turned out so beautiful I had to post it. The photo is of the colored pencil sketch and it was found when the farm was auctioned and left the family for the first time ever a few years ago. While cleaning out the property the new owners found this and one other along with a photo of my great-great grandparents (the son of the homes builder) and called and gave them to us. My brother tried to buy the property because he lives next door and wanted to keep it in the family. It has a lot of special meanings to all of us so we were glad when they reahabbed it it is now beautiful again. So Kimi to make a long story short - I just ended up there.:D

You're right - I am totally smitten and so are you. :D The funny thing - I thought I was having a computer crash last night - just stopped working, no power failure, nothing - just froze and then went black. I had not backed this picture up yet and had just finished posting when it happened. I thought sure it was lost forever except on here and Scrappers. Thank goodness Dell was able to get me up and going and the first thing I did was back it up.

Re computers..........I've got mine back, but still haven't got the dual monitors working. They have ordered a different card in for me (compatability problems, they think) and he's (my really great computer store manager) coming out home tomorrow or the next day, so hopefully it will be up and running before Christmas.
