Hi,
this montage is of cats but these are not your domestic pet.
They are European Wild Cats, not domestic cats who've gone feral. They are completely wild. In the UK they are found in the Highlands of Scotland. Very shy, they are rarely seen. The photos are from the web.

pleased you like it. They are gorgeous animals but as I understand it, even orphaned kittens can't be domesticated.

Kev: Great cats and I didn't know there were still wild ones in Scotland. Here the wild ones are Bobcats, Lynx and Cougar although Bobcats are the only ones locally. Have seen them (they're shy too) but never got a picture except from the web. Look like close relatives :) :

Tony,
yes, there are wild cats in Scotland. I think the only people who see them are shepherds, gamekeepers and naturalists who study them. The bobcat is beautiful.

This is what is found on the crest of the MacIntosh clan for those reasons. I've got MacIntoshes on my mother's mother's side--hence the arcane knowledge. Maybe that is why they are saying it about us too... :) So I did know about them. They are nice looking cats and so visually like the nice tame tabbies asleep under our coffee tables....

Kev, Tony - love the images of the cats, but did you notice the tuft of
fur on the tips of the ears of the bobcat.. Tom :)
