What is this bird?

Ron, is it a very small bird? It looks like some type of finch, like the kind you buy in the pet shop and keep in a cage. Maybe he escaped!

Looks especially like an escapee since it is banded.

Light Back Fawn Zebra Finch (male). Definitely an escaped pet.

Is that your pet? It appears the greenery is plastic or silk and he is banded. I thought also it was a finch but figured you took the picture inside somewhere.

I took it inside, through a glass enclosure, at a geriatric rehab facility. Boy, can't get anything by you observant people. I guess it's a finch of some sort.:cool: :cool:
