Here's this year's freebie pack - 44 holiday-themed graphics for the Artwork & Effects palette.

Thumbnail previews and download are here (http://www.graficalicus.com/graffishop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=53)

Unzip the package to your

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0\Photo Creations\artwork\graphics

directory (copy and past that location into the address bar of any Windows folder for best results) and restart PS Elements.

You'll find these graphics in the Artwork and Effects palette, in the Artwork section - choose the graphics section from the left drop menu and Graffi Holiday 2006 Graphics Pack from the right drop menu.

Happy Holidays, everyone!

Wow Grafi! THANKS!
These are really great.
I love the swirls, and the trees, and the snowflakes I am loving playing with too.
I like stacking two and changing for another look.. hee hee.
This was really great of you to share.
THANKS SO MUCH and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Thanks Grafi, how nice of you to make these available to us. :)

Would these work in Elements 3 as well? I've downloaded them but have not yet installed my PSE5. (I'm sooooo comfortable in 3 I'm reluctant to give it up; maybe this will be the push I need. )

Thanks again!

Thanks, everyone - glad you like them!

Would these work in Elements 3 as well?

I would think so - in PSE 4, you can unpack them here:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\4.0\Organizer\Graphics

but I don't know if that path exists in Elements 3 -

BTW - you can also unzip them and put the folder in

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0\Slideshow Graphics

for use in slideshows -

Would these work in Elements 3 as well?

Pat: PSE3 doesn't have anywhere special to put graphics but just put them in your own folder and use the File Browser to open the ones you want to use.

I couldn't download them because after the AllUsers file there was not an application file> where do you go next? Also I only saw 9 images not 44. Missing something I'm sure. Carol P.S. so new at this.

Carol: Start>Control Panel>Tools>Folder Options and click on the View Tab and check the box called "Show Hidden Files and Folders". Then you'll be able to see where to put it.

Do what Tony said - unhide the folder. Then be sure you're extracting the folder (it's like a little Russian toy - a folder inside a zipped folder...) - put the extracted folder into the documents and settings location outlined on the graphics' product page in the shop -

Let me know if you have any problems -

Thank you Graffi,
Well as many know it takes me twice as long as the rest to catch on.
I just fianlly downloaded the Holiday pack you did. And of course I forgot my password... but it is here now.
Next question, when I tried the brushes and custom shapes, on the download button, the save target part was greyed out. I'm certain it is me, but I am lost again.

Graffi, Thank you again for being so generous with your time and help you give us Elements Users! That video of making a Christmas Ornament was great! I learnt sumthin again as to how to make a hanger, pressing Alt and Arrow Down! That was so cool! Also using the Sphrical tool was new to me. So much to learn, so little time to learn with.

I have downloaded GraffiChristmas2006 as well as GraffiHoliday2006. How/where do I install these in PSE5? Do I need to create seperate folders for each?

Thank you and Merry Christmas to all!

EDIT: I found out how to do this, so now no one needs to answer my question. Thanks :D
