Pauline-all of the photos from your Christmas shoot are wonderful! I took about 100 Christmas-type photos of an 8 month old, and about 20 turned out OK. It does take some patience, doesn't it??

Thanks everyone. I have my friend to thank for the suggestion of the dream bubble. The ideas just haven't been flowing lately and I was running out of time. I printed 24 little 2.5 x 2.5 cards to be delivered tomorrow to the old age home. Shilo really is a star there. He'll be wearing bells (he loves the racket they make) and go room to room spreading cheer!

Janine........thank goodness for digital cameras. You'd think it would be easier getting good pictures of teenagers, but it isn't!! If I want really good pictures of the girls I have to take them off their computer as they seem to take good pictures of themselves and just act up with me!!

A great idea for all those pictures would be a contact card. I think it's great to see all the bloopers too.

Pauline,

Wonderful picture -- especially the dream thoughts. I missed that initially but, when I dragged my wife into this room, "You have to see this", that's the first thing she commented on.

Hmmmmm, is this a right-brain vs. left-brain kind of thing?

We had a shorthair (GSP) for 10+ years; he just LOVED his bells. We would put them on at Christmas and he would strut around, switching his butt from side to side, very pleased with all the noise. Your comment about the bells brought back fond memories.

Rusty Goldens love to 'dress up'. They also like noisy toys and rattles. One Halloween I brought him in wearing a basketball jersey and a sweatband on his leg. It was hilarious. Some of the seniors didn't quite get it and thought his leg was hurt. :D I'd better dig out those bells!!

Last time we were there there was a 5' singing, dancing snowman by the elevators. It was motion activated and when he went up to sniff it, it started to sing and dance and hit his head with one of it's hands. He freaked out and starting backing up and barking at it. Everyone in the lobby was laughing at him. Darn snowment......you just can't trust them. When we were leaving he walked very cautiously by him.

George, Merry Christmas to you and your family too. I just wish the weather was better! I'm having trouble getting ready with all this spring like weather. Just watch the day I have to go to the bus station in Orillia to pick up my Mom will be the day we get a snow storm!!

Thanks Diana......I have no choice but to make the cards now as they always talk about them!! It does give them such great pleasure though.
