PLEASE HELP! shapes

Hello.


How can I load or add shapes to PSE 5? I downloaded the shapes and I unzip the file and save it in Presets-Custom Shapes I see the file there and I try to drag the file in PSE 5 shapes area but its not letting me:confused: .. PLEASE help me! im new to all of this and I know you guys can help me.!!

Hi Joanna.. :)

I had such an issue with the shapes.

One goes under artwork, shapes. This would be in a folder
The other goes under presets, shapes. This would be just the csh. file

Now I did all of that and they showed where they were supposed to be but still did not work. I had to reset my preferences to get them to show.
Do try those locations and see if that get it. :D

I've had good luck with just holding the shift key during startup (keep holding until the rebuilding popup). This forces the artwork folder to rebuild and I don't think it messes up the prefs.:)

I know Gary... that seems to work for everyone else. Norma and I spent the entire day trying to get out shapes to show under the cookie cutter and we tried everything. Finally Wendy suggested resetting the prefs and it worked for both of us. Just another bug. :eek: :confused: :(
