Oh, how fun! I see one already in your gallery. Looking forward to more! I hinted for a macro lense from Santa, but I'm pretty sure Santa had some different idea.

I have a Cannon Rebel XT and the Macro lens is actually a 0.45 X wide angle with Macro.
I also have a 75-300 Zoom.

You are going to have a lot of fun with macro photography. The first time I looked through my macro lens, the clarity quite took my breath away.

Hey Kar,
One of the best things about macro photography is that you can just go out to your backyard and find a myriad of new material to shoot. You're off to a great start. I just added a macro to my gallery; see if you can tell what it is.

Hi Ron
Thank you for your comments and yes it has opened a whole new world for me- I have been in my back yard and trying so many new things. I also got a Fisheye Lens so I will be trying that one and the wide angle next. Your picture is great -I do believe it looks like the inside of a sunflower ( it has been the object a big discussion at work this morning. We have all been admireing the rest of your gallery also- you have some great shots there.
