This week's theme is the Holidays. Chanukah, Christmas or Kwanzaa, take a photo that represents the holiday season. Thanks to Carol and Kimi for the suggestion.

The fine print:
Because the purpose of the weekly theme is to get us more familiar with our cameras and to sharpen our photographic skills, entries should be taken during the week of the theme.
Photoshopping is allowed.

OK I'll go first only because I took pictures last week at our town's annual Victorian Christmas and was playing around with them today. It's an annual event, where the local community theatre put on short sketches in the historic buildings in the grounds of the local museum. Lots of fun. The sketches are all loosely based on town events and people in Victorian times - and over the years there have been some good stories :) . One this year for example was the scandalous behaviour of the first lady in town to be seen riding a bicycle wearing bloomers  .

I know we are only supposed to post 1 image. Hopefully the spirit of Christmas will shine upon Bill and I won't get fussed at. ;)

This is my favorite ornament on our tree. When my daughter was 7 (she is now 20) we were shopping at Micheal's after New Year. We passed a large trash can in the Christmas isle and this reindeer was on the top. She took one look at it and started to cry.. They were throwing it away because it only had one antler. Needless to say, I paid full price for it and it has been with us ever since. She is still happy to see him every year. If you look really close you will see... they also sewed his legs on backwards. We love him just the way he is. :D

While in the process I saw what could be a really cool picture. I have no tripod. Santa is bringing one for Christmas. :D I used a stool, 3 hat boxes, a very large book, 2 pots, and my coasters. I still have a little blur. :o
