Do helpful links could be on helpful books too?

I'm thinking to get Barry Huggin's book Creative Photoshop Lighting Techniques. It is now available in French but at a pretty expensive cost: on Amazon $67.96 CAN.
So, I wonder if it is worth the price? What do you think about the English version (or better if you could look at it in French)?
I know that it is less cost in English but sometime, when it is very technical, mother tongue book is useful to understand better all those stuff :roll:

Its not a book I have come across but I just went to take a closer look and it looks interesting.

Have you tried going to a local book store to see if they have a copy ... or are there none near you?. Usually seeing a book is the very best way to decide if you like it or not.

It must be very difficult trying to deal with technical issues in another language so I understand what you mean about getting it in French:(
