Could someone please tell me which is the best setting in preferences for color management? I would like to know how my images will look when printed. Thank you.

Depending on what you read is what you will get. A lot of what I read states it should be in RGB mode for printing. But, also if your lab can support sRBG mode then you can use it. If you want to make sure you are printing what you see, then you need to calibrate your monitor. I only know how to do it by reading the book and doing it, but many others on the forum probably can give you a quick tutorial on how to do it.

Brent, thank you for the information. I checked out your gallery and think your sports images are terrific! I have a grandson who plays baseball and football and would love to be able to do some of those for him. Hope you don't mind if I use your images as a springboard. Great work.

Thanks for the compliment and you can use whatever you like. Most likely it is something I made that was based off someone else's work.

Here is a thread about calibration. I did not read all the way through it, but it appears to cover what you are looking for.

Others might have some better or more detailed instructions for you.
