Does anybody else's v3 splash screen say "Educational Version" at the top? Let me guess, somebody grabbed the wrong image when they compiled the program. http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Yeh, had the same thing happen and I received the Photoshop and Premiere elements combo. Spent about 30 minutes on the phone with Adobe Support and they were in the dark.
Apparently there is no difference in the product just on the cost of the upgrade -- a standard upgrade would be available but the educational discount would not.

Ooooooops! On my "Welcome" splash screen the "Educational Version" was not there.
However, for the "Organizer" splash screen, there it is.
mmmmm.... well, i'm willing to be educated.

Adobe has had a problem with the wrong serial numbers being assigned to retail upgrades of PSE3. I had the same "Educational Version" splashscreen and when I tried to regtister, the SN. was invalid. I got a new serial # from Adobe, cleared out all references to the program from the library and reinstalled. Had to do this a couple of times having missed some references to the original installation. After the last install the SN was updated and the Educational Version reference on the splash screen was gone.
