View Full Version : Photo theme #59

This week we can concentrate on things that aren't moving around so much. The theme is colorful names, and what I mean by that is something (somewhere??, someone??) with a color in it's name. Stumped?? Check the Yellow Pages;) . Looking forward to many colorful entries this week
If you're looking for an additional challenge, can you guess the name of the font used in the introduction image? Of course it qualifies for the theme.

The fine print:
Because the purpose of the weekly theme is to get us more familiar with our cameras and to sharpen our photographic skills, entries should be taken during the week of the theme.
Photoshopping is allowed.
To make this thread more manageable to view, please post only your entries in this thread. Post your comments in the accompanying 'comment' thread.
Be creative and have fun!

Red Sky settled on The Black Drop. The reflection in the window happens to be the building I used in this week's Grant's Challenge.

Stopped by Tim Hortons this morning for a coffee and right opposite was the Blue Butterfly. Didn't much like the reflection in one window (a car pulling out of Timmies) so got rid of it (you'll see how :) )

Finally, I came up with an idea to participate.:D
These challenges are terrific. I read them each and every time. Thanks to everyone who participates, and the ones who take the time to organize it.

This theme was a great excuse for a trip to the wine shop! Now that I've got the photo done I can finally unwrap that chocolate and relax with a glass of that Black Opal!

Do names that induce color count? This stuff is crazy hot--add too much, and you'll be seeing all sorts of colors...

I began to think that I didn't have anything in the house that had a "Colour" name. Finally!
This is an old box of my Mom's - and perfect for the season.
Cheers,
Helen

Bill,
Which folder in PSE5 contains the fonts? Seems I can't find them.
Chas
P.S. My impatience got the best of me. The new fonts are there now.
