I just installed mac plugins from Flaming Pear (freebies selection) and there were three there:

Gray from Blue X
Gray from Green X
Gray from Red X

I just pulled up a sample photo of my baby and put the filter on each color, each on its own layer (duplicating the image). Wow. What a difference in b&w images!! This really opens this up possibilities for easy black and white conversions with lots of flexibility!!

That downloaded a bunch of plugins - have you experimented with any of the others? I've heard that flaming pear stuff can be resource hogs - so I'm a little leary of installing what I don't need.

I have the folder saved with all of the plugins - I didnt install all of them, only the gray ones, the popular kyoto one, and one other. They seem to run extremely fast on my mac pro. You get all of the individual plugins and you can select the ones you want to install (on the mac I just dragged the file into the plugins folder in PSE).

I am really sorry for the amateur question, but how do combine the final picture from those three layers?
Plus, after I copy the unzipped directory to the Plugins folder and restart, then I can see the filters in the Filter menu, but they do not appear in the Filter Gallery. Do I copy all the files to the Filters folder, to the Plugins folder, or both. And do I copy them just as individual files or organized in a folder?
