Printer setup question

Epson 300 series and PSE-3.
Looking for a recommendation on setting up the 'Resolution' field in
pixels/inch on the 'Image Size' screen.
I seem to remember seeing 330 ppi but I can't find it anywhere (getting old).

Looked at the Epson site, the owners manual, help screens - no help.

Trying to set the number for the best possible printed doc.

Looking for any suggestions ?

Tom: I think the native resolution of the Epson R300 (and I have one too) is 720 and conventional wisdom would say you would divide that by 2 or 3 and use that resolution (so 240 or 360). My experience (and I've seen similar reports) is that from 240 on up you can't see a difference.

Diana; Thanks for the reference, the linked material is excellent reading.

Tony; The 240 or 360 looks very good for that printer. I think that I will
be using those numbers for a while until something better turns up.
