I have a specific shape I want to crop my picture into. The shape is in a PDF file. Unfortunately, when I tried using the cookie cutter there wasn't a very close match for my shape. Is there a way to maybe import MY shape into the cookie cutter shapes or is there another way I can crop my pictures into this specific shape?

Thank you in advance for any advice/help!

You might try Adobe Studio Exchange -- look for Custom Shape files and see if anything there would be worth downloading -- which Photoshop Elements are you using? It might matter as to where the shape files are kept.

Hi there

Not sure what you are trying to do but you can fill any shape with any picture.

You need to have a shape. It can be cut out with selection tools and pasted in your composite photo, as in the first example below.

Place the picture you want to use as a fill above the shape layer.

Then press Layer>Group with previous.... you picture will be trimmed to the shaped edges. You can still press the move tool and use transform tools to change the size and postition of the fill.

Hope this helps
