Clerodendron - second attempt

This is my second attempt - there was no reply when I posted my previous one under the title 'Blur'. I'm having to experiment, as the only example of this unusual fruit and bract that I know of is past its best and these were the only complete fruits I could find. I used a background I had downloaded for use with songs at church, changed the colour in Levels and cut the fruit. I'm not sure if it has worked or not.

By the 'second', do you mean the one I displayed firsr (which was my second attempt) or my first attempt, which is displayed second? Sorrt yo confuse you! I should have inserted them the other way round, but was too busy struggling with my links from Photobucket.

I like the one you call "the original" -- second one in this thread.

No apologies needed here about being a beginner. We were all beginners and most of us are still learning new techniques several years later.
