Layer Styles in PSE5

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me how to find the layer styles in PSE5? Trying to help someone find their drop shadows. Thanks.

Hi!

First go to the "Window" menu at the top of PSE5 and make sure there is a check mark by "Artwork and Effects". Then, if there is no extra window at the right of the image screen, click on the dark gray bar with an arrow at the middle of the right frame of PSE. This opens the palette bin. There should be the title "Artwork and Effects" in this narrow window. If there is nothing under that, click on the little arrow to the left of the title. Now click on the little icon that looks like three bubbles and a star. This opens up the special effects. Now click on the left dropdown menu, find "Layer Styles", and you're in business! The dropdown menu on the right then gives you the choice of the subcategories.
