I hope I'm in the right forum with this question. I have Premiere Elements 2.0 and can't seem to make slow motion, import a video clip without messing up the audio and why does it take 3 hours to burn a DVD when I'm through?

Can anyone get me out of this quicksand into which I'm sinking?

Keep in mind I'm SiXTY FIVE years young and hard-headed too.

Hello Hielo3, I'm 55 and your doing better than I am. I bought the program last year and never even installed in on my computer, now a newer version is out. Hopefully someone who has used the program will come along to answer your questions. From what I've seen most people in the forum doesn't like Premier Elements, that is one of the reasons I never installed it, I just bought as a bundle package with PSE4 and with rebates it was about the price of Elements. If you get the program to work maybe I will give it a shot. Good luck.;)

I guess that makes me young at only 47 :D I have upgraded to PE3, but my computer motherboard died and I also wound up building a new computer. This spring I did a video for my son's soccer team and it took about 4½ hours to burn the DVD. This fall I did another one that was a lot larger and it only took about 10 minutes to burn the DVD. I suspect the huge increase in speed is a combination of the new version and computer. What are the specks on your current system?
