I am learning haw to take my photos and turn them into a video cd to show on tvs. The problem I have is when I vew them on the computer they look great. However, when viewed on a tv, the pixels seem to spread out more. Is there a way to make the video cd look as good on tv as it does ont he computer?
Thanks

There should be an option to check when writing the VCD that lets you choose from Fit to Screen or keep as normal. I don't use PSE for writing/burning VCDs, so I'm not sure where the option is in the program. If no one answers you, I will check tonight when I get home and see if I can find for you:( . Good luck.

Wendy....
Video CDs are always dissapointing because the resolution is so low on the TV. You are much better off making DVDs.
Even then don't expect the same quality as what you'll see on your computer display.

Someone was telling me that I was wasting money to record pictures on a DVD. Don’t think it was anyone on this forum. Seems to me that a DVD is so cheap that one should be able to use a DVD.

I have made several VCDs using a different program and everyone loved them. In fact I ended up copying most of them for friends and relatives. They really turned out good. I used a fairly cheap program made by Greeting Card Factory called Picutre to TV. After viewing my VCDs several people bought the program. It is the simpliest progrom out there and did an outstanding job. I'm not fond of PSE when it comes to writing VCDs or DVDs. I'm in the process of making VCDs for Christmas presents, its fun, easy and everyone loves them. So Wendy, good luck, it will work and they are well worth it.

If you're serious about Slideshows then there are better options than Elements. I use a program called Proshow Gold, which produces good quality DVDs and is easier to use and produces the whole show. Elements stops short of making the actual DVD.
