View Full Version : Slide Show Command Failed

I'm trying to add pictures to the slide show program and I keep getting the error "Slide Show Command Failed" "Unable to add photo's from folder". I'm able to add audio, but no pictures or video. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same error.

Can anyone help?

Which version of PSE are you using (and Mac or windows) ?

I'm using the windows version of PSE 5.0

What kind of pictures are you trying to add ? Tiff, JPEG, PNG.. ? Also, if they're JPEG, how have they been manipulated before (sometimes, striping the EXIF information would be helpful).

Also, I welcome other all-knowing Windows users to jump in, I'm mostly a Mac person :D

Are you adding images from the Organizer? If so when you're in the Slide Show Editor you could try Add Media>Photos and Videos from Folder - that lets you browse direct to a folder with images in it. See if you are able to get any pictures in.

I have exactly this problem. Were you able to find a solution? I contacted Adobe and they passed the buck to Microsoft.
