Time to get moving again ... this week's theme is motion or movement.

(If your weather isn't conducive to shooting outdoors, don't forget indoor options like pendula, metronomes, running pets, etc. Remember, creative interpretation is not only allowed, it's encouraged.:) )

The fine print:
Because the purpose of the weekly theme is to get us more familiar with our cameras and to sharpen our photographic skills, entries should be taken during the week of the theme.
Photoshopping is allowed.
To make this thread more manageable to view, please post only your entries in this thread. Post your comments in the accompanying 'comment' thread.
Be creative and have fun!

Was out stalking hubby while he played with his boat. :p I wish I could have gotten the propeller turning more but I will have to be happy with the water. :o :D It was a nice learning exercise with my camera.

I also used the Contrast Masking from the other thread.

I hate snow. I really do. After going out and putting weight into the back of my truck we walked down the street and found this tree across the road. The only other way off our street are steep hills. I took a picture of the tree and had my wife wave her arms to qualify for motion. I had to hand hold the camera (I wasn't going out with a tripod) so everything is blurry. I also added the Contrast Mask as well as a gradient map to make it look artsy and to distract you from the blur.

A bit of an experiment - taken a couple of weeks ago in the UK of the infamous M25 - motion blur added today as the original had none at all. The picture has some personal significance - I grew up around here and remember this spot before the road was built. Was a lot nicer then :(

if stop action qualifies for the movement exercise but I really liked this one. Outdoor soccer season just ended here in the Midwest.

I gave up on my ceiling fan, if the motion was there so was a bunch of noise. The spider webs were easy to get rid of but the noise has me stumped.
Here's a sort of racy wind-up - the key is under her skirt.

This is my first time doing this theme thing. My photo isn't as good as the others but had to add this. It is my one year old Great Niece, Kaylin dancing. She turned her back as I took the shot and wouldn't dance again as long as I had my camera.

I couldn't resist sharing this one. It was taken by my 13 year old last summer. We were at the vintage races in Elkhart Lake, WI (turn 12 - Canada Corner). The one thing I always tell her is "keep shooting"; it must have stuck well with her. This is the first in the series of 10 or so shots where the car slides and the driver exits (unhurt by the way). She took this with my D70.
The only editing I did for her was cloning out a wire that ran through the dust.
