can someone please help here...

I changed the cache folder from "Startup" to "D:\" (obviously I have a D drive). Now whenever I try to open the editor I get a message

"Could not initialize Photoshop Elements because the file is locked."

and that's it.

Help

I have something I have to deliver tomorrow and I'm panicking. I looked through the registry settings but can't find anything obvious

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I can't help you, but I see you haven't had a response yet. Maybe you would get an answer from the people at Adobe. Here's the forum URL.

Try resetting the prefs file CTRL-ALT-SHIFT as you click on the desktop icon keep holding until the popup window appears and answer yes.

Hope this works.:)

Yep the CTL-ALT-SHIFT did the trick.

Thanks for getting back to me so soon.
