This may not be the right place to ask this question but I'll ask it anyway.

I installed PSE5 without any problems but when I go to Help > Photoshop Elements Help it shows the help to be for PSE4. I tried installing PSE5 Help from the disk and downloading it from Adobe but I keep getting "Internal Error 2753.ahc.exe. Would anyone know what the problem is and how I can get the Help installed?

Hi Wendy,

I've just started using PSE of any version just a few months ago and I've been taking some classes through the Adult Education at the local High School. It at least gets your feet wet but it doesn't teach you everything by a long shot. I'm glad I found this site because after looking through all the forums I realized there's a wealth of knowledge here. It's a good place to hang out !

Hi All,
I am also having the same problem with PSE 5. When I click PSE 5 help link under help section nothing happens. Same when pressing F1. I followed Adobe link in one of the previous reply but no luck there either. In fact I do not have the Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Help Center\AdobeHelpData folder either. I tried to install the help center directly from the PSE 5 CD and then I get this error. I had "try before buy" versions of both PSE 4 and PSE 5 before. Just wondering whether they left behind any thing that causes this problem.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Dek ...

... and Welcome to the forum :)

Did you uninstall PSE4 and PSE5 demo versions before you installed your own copy ??

Yes, All the previous versions are uninstalled before installing PSE 5 from its CD. The only other Adobe program I have installed is the Acrobat Reader 7. Thanks for trying to help me.

Today I ran "Windows Install Clean Up" program I downloaded from MS web site and it showed that I have Adobe Help Center installed though Add/Remove Programs did not show that. I removed it using "Windows Install Clean Up" and reinstalled the help center from PSE CD. I had to move the file "PhotoshopElements_5.0_en_us.zip" to the folder as described in the Adobe post (link) above. Now every thing works fine.

Thanks for trying to help me and I hope my post may be of some help to some one.
