If you are not into the hectic shopping on the day after Thanksgiving (I'm sure not, the crowds or the cold)...
Best Buy on line Photoshop Elements 5 (incl. tax and shipping) $57.76.
Also
at Comp USA (on line) Digital Picture Frame 7" 59.99, (after $20 mail in rebate, and $20 instant savings.)
I bought 4.
I plan to add a memory card for my Dad already full random pictures he will enjoy. This way he will not have to DL from the computer himself.
Have a great day!

I went to Best Buy this morning around 7 am - no line, several copies of PSE5! It was such a great deal I bought two....one for each of my children. Oops....forgot to get one for myself. Guess I'll have to go back....

Glad you were lucky with the "no Lines" Chuck. They showed our Best Buy on the 11pm news last night and folks were already in line for the 4am, tickets to get in.

Went to Staples purchased Elements 5.0 Plus Premiere 3.0 on sale for $119.99($30 off) plus rebate for additional $30. Interestingly not all stores have boxes marked with the rebate. Final cost is $90. Item is not in Staples circular or their website. Great deal!

Apple also offers great deal on their online store. I know some wanted an iPod (which doubles as a photo holder while on vacation). That's the best time to buy one, they're on sale, and we all know, Apple rarely offers rebate on its product.

I got to Best Buy at 3:50 am and there was a line half way around the building and by 5:00 opening, the line was all the way around the building. Best Buy had employees going down the line with tickets for the most popular items. If that was what you were looking for, they gave you a ticket and that guaranteed you would get one. When they ran out of tickets, that item was gone as they only had so many of them.
I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes, had my PSE 5.0 in hand and was back home in bed by 5:30.:)
Don't know as I would go to that extreme again to save $50.00 or not.

I HATE sales  It goes back to when I got my first job at Boans (a department store in Perth). I worked in the office but for the first week of the sale I was put on the floor in an area that was near the top of the escalator and I could see the doors - when the doors opened there was this wave of "mad" shoppers which took minutes to envelope me in their mayhem. It put me off sales forever :o

Hi Ray!
I just puchased an iPod Nano for my young granddaughter for Xmas and found it a little cheaper at Walmart than I could get it for even online. Walmart is about all we have up here.
She likes music of course but also likes to carry pictures of her family, so the Nano is perfect for her. I'm going to load a little music on it and a few of her favorite images from her summer here with us before giving it to her.

OMIG Gary!! :D :D :D
Only you can make me laugh this early in the morning....! You forgot the coffee warning!
I'll have you know that even at my old age I like [some] hip-hop.... altho my own iPod contains more 60's than anything else - I do like those Platters! :D
I have good back-up so I'm not worried - my other daughter who lives here (her aunt) is really into music and I'm sure will direct the choices!

Pat, I just love those old Platters songs - especially "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" and "The Great Pretender".

Acting on that great tip from Keddie, I went to Staples just now and got their last copy of PSE5/PE3 for $119 (they had to go find it in the back).
That plus the $30 mail in rebate in the box will more than pay for my subscription to Photoshop Elements Techniques :)
Thanks Keddie !

My husband went to Best Buy around 11am this morning, and 5 minutes later was checked out with my new PSE 5 and a printer cartridge I also needed! No lines at all. Graffi thanks for that deal, I am off to check it out now. I don't want to even think about installing PSE5 it until I get the add-0-matic.

Things were pretty crazy in some the stores around here.
My daughter has a friend who enjoys the camp out lines for the occasion.
He managed to make 1300 (3 day camp out) for his #1 spot for the playstation, and another chunk for spot #18 for the black Friday for his electronics ticket item.
Thankfully she chose not to join the little camping group.
