Here are a few pics I took today with my Nikon D50 and my new Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens. I am really enjoying this camera and still have alot to learn about it. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Hi Bob,
I have the D50 as well and I love it. You are going to have lots of fun messing around with it. Great shots in your album.

So, you like the camera, eh Bob? That's one I've looked at, simply because it's on the south side of $1000, and my budget is tight. Do you find the 6 MP to be adequate for larger prints? My Canon P&S is a 7.1 MP. I know there is more to things than just MP count, but am still somewhat ignorant on the subject.
I've always been a Canon fan, but have nothing against Nikon, either. I don't own lenses for either, so whenever I jump into the DSLR world, I won't have any previous equipment pulling me in one direction or another.
Nice shots, by the way!

Great shots. Don't you just have to smile when a kid smiles?:)
Mike:
I might be able to send you a 6mp shot form my Rebel and you can play with that if you like. (might... as in... I'm not sure if I can email one that big)

Thanks Mike. The D50 is a great camera, I love it. As far as MP's go, I think 6is fine. A girl that works at a local ritz has a D50 and she had some prints made at I believe 20x16 and they were amazing.
