Where to put Extras, brushes, downloades

Where do I put the new brushes and extras and downloads? I'm working in PSE4 still.

Hi Patti,

Well, I'm working in PSE 3 still, but it gets the job done!:D

Most of the add-ons such as you mention go into folders in:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 4.0\Presets

Hi Patti ...

An easy way of working out which go in which folders is that files ending in:

.abr go in the Brushes folder
.aco in the Colour Swatches folder
.csh in Custom Shapes
.grd in Gradients
.pat in Patterns
.asl in Styles

NOTE: PSE5 ... is slightly different as .asl now go in a different place :)
