Steven -

That's a great shot! The rain on the window really creates a neat effect and you capured it perfectly (ok, for Alice, purrr-fectly:) .)

One question. There was no chance of giving the camera to one of the cats and sending him outside to take your picture inside on the chair??? Just a thought.

Thanks Bill and Mary. Not a chance for sending the cats outside with the camera. I rarely even get a chance to sit in that chair. They have deemed it "theirs."

Great shot.

Heated pillow????? No wonder you can't get the chair.

I'm fretting over a sick cocker tonight. I'd give him a heated chair in a heartbeat if that would stop all this throwing up.

My poor baby.

Betsy,

I am sorry :o Michael reckons he does not sleep in his chair, so I always refer to it as "checking his eyelids for holes" :D

Karen - to echo Steven that is great writing and a great shot.

Steven - I love that shot! your cats know how lucky they are and they know that they deserve heated pillows.

Bill - Nice sign but tho I don't get around much I would think there may be some other comfort besides a phone.

Hi Lori - Nice to see you and your cozy kitty.

Thanks Ellen. I'm back online; we were without power for over 60 hours from the wind storm Wednesday. My wind guage posted multiple gusts in the 80 mph range, the peak being 89 mph. How did you fare? The cats were not liking it at all. I went over to a friends house last night with the heating discs to warm them up in the microwave. I found three of them huddled together yesterday afternoon on the afgan for the inside temperature had dropped to 57 degrees. Downright arctic. It was horrible for them! When the challenge is "Uncomfortable" I will post the photo of their survival method.

Steven - I hope the cats have recovered and of course you too. There were similar gusts here but aside from losing a few trees and power for not too long all is well. I have a wind up radio that can charge cell phones- maybe it could be adapted to heat kitty beds.

Good entries again this week.

Steven - I think you win the award for sacrificing your own comfort in order to get the shot. Very nice entry.

Karen - Good shot ... but can he really be comfortable when he's obvoiusly so busy planning and strategizing??!!;)

Lori - What a beauty! And looking very comfy in the quilt. Your shot is very crisp and colorful! We'll look forward to seeing more of your entries!

Ellen - With the weather we've been having that certainly defines comfort. Good job! (Don't let it go out ... sounds like we've got another storm coming thru tomorrow night.)

Peaches - Very nice collage ... I like the background. Max certainly looks comfy, but your husband looks to me to be very busy planning and strategizing.;)

Gary - Is it that time already?? Good shot as always. Even without a head he appears to me to be very busy planning and strategizing.

What I'd like to know is why guys seem to have an unfair stereotype of only being comfortable if thier feet are up, there's a game on the tube, and/or a nap in progress??:D

Glenda - Nice shot and perfect for the theme! I like the vignette effect too. To me the cat clearly is more comfortable because the fellow on the right looks to be busy planning and strategizing!!
