To my fellow veterans in the USA and in every allied nation -- Thank you... thank you... thank you!! I have not been home enough to be able to put together a PSE creation to honor this day, so I have to rely on just my words.

And to the family's of those who have served and who currently serve -- thank you as well. You make sacrifices that seldom get noticed.

The sacrifices made by those who serve can only be slightly understood by anyone else. However, having served 20 years, I can tell you that I would not trade any of it because of the freedom we enjoy. I shudder to think of what the alternative would be.

From one proud Vet to all the others -- Thank you!!!

My niece Abby graduated from drill sargent school in September. I'm proud of her.:)

My wife's granddaughter's husband is in Iraq for his second tour. I'll pass on your kind words.

I am married to a Vietnam Veteran and our son (my step son) has been to Iraq last year and will have to go back this Jan....
I also have a daughter in law which may get called up soon. My son and her have a 3 yr old daughter.

My heart goes out to you and your family. A three year old needs both her parents. It's just wrong!
