When Miss Zézette decides I won't do any work, she's the boss and I have to obey!

However, when my work is really boring, she uses me to sleep.. :)

That is so funny! She obviously runs the house. Sophie does that to me too. She will come and pull on my arm until I let go of the mouse and turn around to play with her.

She never was really caring that much for us. She's a fine cat, but used to be very independent.. not anymore :)

Ray, how nice to hear from you!

Wonderful pictures of Zézette, so cute! She has really grown since the last images I saw of her.

p.s. thank you for telling me about Simons Camera in Montreal. (way long ago now!) I finally called them today and ordered a tripod and head from them. They were excellent on the telephone. Don't know where I think I'm going with a tripod in all this darn snow ! :D

That is great, Ray!!!

When my bird (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=13062) flies over to visit me while I am working at the computer, he always ends up climbing down my right arm, and perching on the back of my wrist. He preens for a while, and then puffs up and naps -- all while I am actively typing and mousing! Moving my arm around doesn't bother him at all.

Looks like Miss Z. would prefer that you hold still, though!!! :p

Hi Ray,

Those photos are great! Miss Z. is a beautiful cat and seems so loving! We always had calico cats when I was growing up because they were my mom's favorite. After I was married and left home, our first cat was a black and white long haired female (Silkie). Her first litter, she had seven kittens and four of them were calicos, all long hairs.

My dog, Sophie, likes to sit in my lap with her head and neck on my left arm while I'm at the computer trying to type and use the mouse. Sometimes she lays her head on the keyboard and the cursor takes off across the screen!

How was your trip? Did you get some good photos you can share with us?

Now that's original!!! A bird... I really thought they were "sleep" fragile animals, requiring complete tranquility.

Trip was fabulous! We sun and fun for a whole week!

I'm in the process of cataloguing and trashing the unwanted pictures. They're all in RAW so this takes time. I'm about halfway done. I'll post the best in a couple of weeks.

Ray,
great shots of the Boss. Lovely cat.
Our Millie sits alongside me when I'm on the computer but when she gets bored she likes to walk over the keyboard. I have to watch her and try to stop her or chaos reigns. She is the Lady of our house.

Such cute furry friends! The bird is quite extraordinary, too.

My "bad" cat nips at my ankles while I'm on the computer. Can't figure out what she wants, except that she wants me OFF of the computer, I guess!

Janine,
My kitty, Mila Monster Underfoot, does the same thing. She wants me off the computer and my undivided attention. She can purr though.:)
