Thanks guys. I appreciate your comments. It's on the east coast at Swanwick, just around the corner of the river from where we have our holiday home.

Hey Karen..........when do you move, you'll probably need calming during the change!

Robyn,

Not for a while yet BUT we have started sorting through things and being ruthless (in other words, chucking a lot out :D). Today we sorted through all the gemstone my Dad had collected (we had them around the top pond); also dug up two large, very prickly cacti and put them in pots. We have two rooms and the garden under control. Michael still has to go through his clothes - the deal is, we go through our own clothes and can get rid of whatever we like, no questions asked :). The office and kitchen - well, the less said the better

Karen.....

I can't imagine how we could ever move. Barry is a compulsive hoarder. We have numerous sheds, garages etc. full of 40 years of junk. It is like the growth rings of a tree........if he could ever get past/through the top layers goodness only knows what he would discover. You probably think I'm exaggerating, but believe me I'm not. If I had the courage I'd take a picture and post it, but then people would probably think we live like pigs! (I'm VERY tidy!). I think over the years this has been the course of more arguments than anything!!

Robyn,

It's a chilly morning here in my part of the world, but your beautiful water scene has coaxed me into loading up my kayak and camera and go fishing.

OK, I was planning to go fishing today anyway, but it's still a beautiful image.

Beautiful shot Robyn...... pure serenity.

How I wish that's what I was looking at instead of all this snow!

Wow, I have to agree with everyone. That is a beautiful photograph. Any editing done...or straight from camera? I also love your gallery. You have a great eye for color.

Curt...........

I've used slight adjustments with Colour Balance and Curves. I also used lens correction for some very slight horizontal distortion.

Robyn,
That is really beautiful. You mention curves - are you working primarily in CS2 now?

Hi Nancy.......

I've only opened Elements once since I got CS2.......and that was to do something for Wendy........I was all fingers and thumbs with it. I just love CS2. Yes, I work in it all the time now and I really like the Bridge too. I use it to organize all my stuff.

Forgot to say.........thanks to you all for such great comments on this pic.

That's great Robyn. I just don't have the desire to relearn anything right now so even though I have it I'm "hiding" in ELements. I have done a few things and I'm trying to do Linda's Photoshop version videos so I will eventually use it more but I'm normally in a hurry to do something so I go where I know my way around. Dumb I know - but I'm just comfortable there.

Nancy - I just noticed your new signature and I AM praying.

Robyn - Another stunning photo. I would ask what kind of camera you have but I know it is the person behind the camera that makes the great shots. Another that should be framed for a real live in person gallery!!

Actually this one wasn't taken with my Canon 30D, but my little Pansonic FZ5........it is a great little camera.

I also have CS2 now, but have been still using elements. I guess I need to force myself to move to CS2. Curves really seem to be a great tool.
