Feel secure with this week's theme which is locks or keys. This should be a good indoor or outdoor theme for those getting a blast of nasty weather.

The fine print:
Because the purpose of the weekly theme is to get us more familiar with our cameras and to sharpen our photographic skills, entries should be taken during the week of the theme.
Photoshopping is allowed.
To make this thread more manageable to view, please post only your entries in this thread. Post your comments in the accompanying 'comment' thread.
Be creative and have fun!

I want to beat Gary to the posting this week so here's mine. A friend moved into a house owned by a former mayor. While cleaning out the basement he ran into a box of "Keys to the City" that were passed out to people of importance. Knowing I am a "collector" he gave them to me. These aluminum keys haven't been filed down but I give them out to my guests anyway, to make them feel special.

This is the very first time I have posted (I hope) a picture. I am no where near the quality of all the rest of you but wanted to show off my dog.
the color is off due to the whatever filter I used.

As you all know we will moving in the near future and have started sorting things out. Well, we have found sooo many keys it is not funny - some we know what they belong to and others, we don't have a clue  The one thing we did find were the locks from the farm and that is what I have used. Originally, I think we had four locks that could use the same key, of course, we had more than one key - one on my key ring, one on Michael's key ring and a couple of spares :D

Here's the back of a clock that I think had another key but it's lost. Maybe Karen has it in her pile of keys.

A bit boring but it is keys. They are what I need to lug around every day.
How can I get rid of the white "hole" in the cut out???

Here's our "keyboard (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=14220)"... I made it from an old piece of shelving and screwed it to the wall in our coat closet... and I thought I was putting on too many hooks!

I waited until Gary put in his work before I put in my second entry; his previous ideas were squashed by others ahead of him. Since he didn't use a ring of skeleton keys on top of a MacGyver script I will include mine.

Ellen- The top key (square) or the brass key (round) may fit your clock.
