I'm working on Halloween picture and found this font for Pooh Bear that is little pictures. Is that what a ding bat is?
Anyways.... how do I use it in Elements? I loaded it but don't know how to use from there.

Hi Michelle ...
Dingbats are indeed fonts where instead of letters there are images ... you just use them by typing the letter :) ... its another way of adding little images or symbols to your creations.

Thanks Wendy.... you caught me,:o I also posted on the Scrapper's Guide cause I could'nt sleep last night and was playing around.
Now with this font I tried typing letters, but nothing happens....

It may be that not all the letters are used in that ding bat alpha. Often they are only partial fonts.
One of the things you can do with ding bats is to create brushes or digital stickers with them. I spent several hours yesterday turning some ding bats into brushes. :)

Michelle,
If you type "the quick brown fox jumped over lazy sleeping dog" you will use every letter of the alphabet and will be able to see what letters are in that font and what they look at. You may need to use a very large size to be able to see it properly.
